Privacy Policy

TableBI ("TableBI", "we", "us") is a read-only marketing reporting and analytics tool. It lets you connect your own marketing data sources, turns them into one consistent set of numbers, and renders reports and live dashboards. This policy explains what data we access, why, how we store and protect it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we access

Your account. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address (openid email) and use it to identify your account. We also keep your workspace settings and the status of your syncs.

Sources you connect. When you choose to connect a source, you authorize TableBI through that platform's official OAuth flow, and only for advertising/analytics data:

  • Google Search Console (webmasters.readonly) — clicks, impressions, average position, search queries and pages for sites you select.
  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics.readonly) — sessions, users, page views, conversions and revenue by date, channel and country for properties you select, plus the website address of each property's web data stream, so a property can be matched to the site it measures.
  • Google Ads (adwords) — campaign performance metrics (spend, clicks, impressions, conversions and similar) for ad accounts you select.
  • Meta Ads (ads_read) — advertising performance metrics for ad accounts you select.
  • CSV files you upload — stored as you upload them, in your workspace.

TableBI only reads. The Search Console, Analytics and Meta permissions above are read-only. Google Ads offers a single API permission (adwords) with no read-only variant, so the access you grant there is broader than what we use: TableBI only calls reporting endpoints and never creates, edits, pauses or deletes anything in your account. We do not access email, contacts, files, or any data beyond the marketing metrics above.

2. How we use it

We use the data you connect solely to provide the service to you: to compute unified metrics (e.g. ROAS, CPA, spend, clicks), to generate the reports and dashboards you request, and to keep that data fresh when you ask. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine-learning or AI models.

Dashboards you publish are public. A published dashboard is a read-only link that anyone who has it can open without signing in. Unpublishing it (tablebi dashboard unpublish) takes the link down.

Service records. To run and improve the service we keep simple usage counters — for example, how many times each published dashboard was viewed per day (no viewer identity is recorded) and product milestones such as a workspace's first completed sync.

Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure. TableBI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, we do not transfer or sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or to train generalized AI/ML models.

3. Where the analysis happens (no third-party LLM)

TableBI is a data backend; it does not host or run a large-language model. When you analyze your data conversationally, that happens in your own AI agent (e.g. your Claude Code) running under your control. The hosted TableBI service stores your connected data and serves the numbers — it does not send your marketing data to any third-party LLM provider.

4. How we store and protect it

  • OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (authenticated encryption) in our database and only decrypted momentarily on our trusted front door to call the source's API on your behalf.
  • Marketing data (the metrics we pull) is stored in object storage scoped to your workspace prefix; workloads can only read their own workspace's data.
  • Access is limited to the operation of the service. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure sub-processors below.

5. Sub-processors

  • Fly.io — application hosting, compute and database.
  • Tigris — object storage for your workspace data.

These providers process data only to host the service and are bound by their own data-protection terms.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your connected data while your workspace is active. The console does not have a self-serve delete button yet: to remove a source or your whole workspace, email support@tablebi.com from your account's email address and we will delete the stored tokens and the synced data for it. You can revoke TableBI's access at any time from your Google Account permissions or Meta account settings, which stops further syncing.

7. Your rights

You may access, export, or delete the data TableBI holds about you by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA; we honor verifiable requests to access or delete your data.

8. This website

tablebi.com is hosted on Cloudflare. We count visits to it with Google Analytics (which sets cookies), Ahrefs Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics — page views, referrers, device type and approximate location. These services never receive the marketing data you connect to TableBI.

9. Children

TableBI is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
